Jen and Jessica work as a team to provide professional development, trainings, workshops, and courses for pre-service and in-service music teachers.

Our instruction focuses on anti-ableist, neurodivergence-affirming methods for supporting and meaningfully including disabled students with moderate and high support needs in music classes, both in inclusion and sub-separate settings

One aspect of our trainings that consistently receives superlative feedback is the focus on the “how” of accessible and adaptive music teaching, and not just the who, what and why. All of our workshops include videos of student learning and numerous participatory demo activities with methods and tools that teachers can replicate in their own classrooms.

Perhaps most importantly, we love children and maintain weekly teaching schedules in public elementary schools ourselves, which helps to inform our teacher training and keep our content relevant.
