Down By the Bay choice boards and cards
These playful images were drawn by our friend Caroline Moore to be used with the classic children’s song Down By the Bay If creating original rhymes doesn’t match the interests and abilities of your students, they can still choose a rhyme using this scaffolding and communication tool.
The options include a flower taking a shower, a dog dancing with a frog, a snake baking a cake, a bear combing his hair, a bug drinking from a jug, a moose kissing a goose, a goat sailing a boat, a whale with a polka dot tail, a llama wearing pajamas, a dog out for a jog, and a pig wearing a wig.
This PDF file includes one page with the pictures on a blue background, one page with the pictures on a white background, and two pages of the pictures enlarged with captions for creating choice cards. Click here to read our blog post and view our video about how to make durable choice cards.
